Meet Our Dentists

Dr. Raymond J. Tseng
Dr. Raymond J. Tseng DDS, PhD, FAAPD
Dr. Ray’s path to pediatric dentistry started with a deep interest in children’s health and development. He completed his dental and advanced training at The Ohio State University, followed by specialized residency and fellowship training in pediatric dentistry and nutrition at the University of North Carolina. His advanced education allows him to look beyond teeth alone and consider how oral health connects to feeding, growth, and overall function.

Dr. Ray especially enjoys caring for children from infancy through the teen years and has a special focus on helping infants and children with tethered oral tissues that can affect breastfeeding, eating, or speech. He takes a thoughtful, evidence-based approach and believes parents deserve clear explanations and realistic options—not pressure or one-size-fits-all solutions. Dr. Ray is an active clinician scientist in the field of ankyloglossia, is active in research and publishing, and is an international invited speaker and expert on infant tongue ties.

As a parent himself, Dr. Ray understands the challenges of busy schedules, conflicting advice, and trying to do what’s best for your child with the information you have. He partners with families to create practical, achievable plans that support healthy smiles and healthy development—both in the dental office and at home.

Outside the office, Dr. Ray enjoys traveling with his partner and exploring new places and cultures that continue to shape his compassionate, child-centered approach to care.
